Description

This year’s themes of the competition is“Time”.

The contest is Founded by the world-renowned BBC Aeronautics Correspondent Reg Turnill and his wife, Margaret, to celebrate the life and works of HG Wells and encourage creative writing, especially among the young.

Conditions of Entry:

  1. The Short Story length is 1,500 to 5,000 words.
  2. In entries story double quotation marks should be used for speech and single quotation marks for other appropriate purposes;
  3. Entries story as a PDF or text document to via online entry;
  4. All text story 12 point, Verdana (for judging – it’s easier to read);
  5. 1.5 lines spacing;

Competition is free for Junior competition and (entry £10 or £5 with student id) for Senior competition.
